Chapter Eight Vocabulary Quiz
COMMENT(S):I received an 85% on this test, demonstrating my satisfactory understanding of the terms in relation to the mammalian transport system. I mixed up a few of the terms, however after looking through my textbook after the quiz, I learned that capillaries form a network throughout every tissue in the body except the cartilage and cornea called a capillary bed, tiny blind-ending vessels found in almost all tissues are known as lymphatics, and capillaries gradually join with one another to form larger vessels called venules.
